Language of Sexuality

Introduction to Anti-Oppression

This presentation is more on the light-hearted end. It covers sex vs gender identity vs gender expression, looks into different types of sexualities and opens a discussion on cisnormativity and heteronormativity. This session is recommended for beginners looking to begin to understand how people fundamentally identify. It's a great conversation starter and leads very well into our second training.

This presentation is tailored for a more mature audience looking to learn about more serious and sometimes uncomfortable topics. These range from intersectionality to racial microaggressions to privilege. Using familiar media and a very open approach, this training aims to break down these big scary terms into an accessible language that will leave the group confidently understanding the basics.

These trainings have been conducted to fraternities, engineering leaders within McMaster, across Ontario (ESSCO) and across Canada (CFES). If you are intersted in having us deliver one of these presentations, please do not hesitate to contact us.
